Cardinia Reservoir Park
Cardinia Reservoir Park offers open parkland, picnic and barbeque areas and native bushland areas abounding with native flora and fauna. The main entrance is in Duffy's road, Narre Warren East but the park be accessed via a rear entrance in Red Hill Road, Upper Beaconsfield.

Cricket club
Upper Beaconsfield Cricket Club promotes cricket for boys and girls from age 6 (Milo Have A GO program) to U11s, U13s, U15s, U17s as well as Seniors (4 teams). Home matches are played at the Upper Beaconsfield Recreation Reserve.

Community Centre

The UBCC offers a range of activities, courses and sessions including fitness, computer training, special needs classes, art, craft, childrens classes, and a variety of special interest classes. A new program is developed each term. Copies are delivered locally and details are available on our website. UBCC is also a Registered Training Organisation which offers training for qualifications including Cert IV in Training and Assessment, Cert III in Aged Care, Cert III in Childrens Services and Cert II in First Aid. The centre is also the meeting place for local organisations and support groups including the Upper Beaconsfield Association, Cancer Support Group and Fibromyaligia Support Group. Free computer use and internet access is available. A Toy Library is based at the centre and a Registered Class 1 crèche is operated by the centre.
The office is open from 9.00 - 3.30. Classes and Meetings are also held outside these hours according to the program schedule.

Hall and meeting room hire (at the Community Complex)
The Upper Beaconsfield Community Complex Buildings & Grounds Committee is a committee of management for the Department of Sustainability and Environment.

The Community Centre is the major user group at the Complex. 

Casey Cardinia HPV and Cycling Club
This club was formed in 2005 by the coming together of school groups in the district who competed in cycling and HPV (human powered vehicles) events http://www.cchpvcc.org.au

Upper Beac Peddlers
Cycling for fun and fitness with outings held 3rd Sunday of the month approx 9am to mid afternoon. Rides suit beginners through to more experienced riders. Enjoy a social day whilst getting fit. Breaks taken for coffee/lunch.

Glendower - Restaurant, reception centre and accommodation in an historic building.

Hind Quarter steakhouse - is fully licensed, open for dinner from Tuesday to Saturday and is available for functions. It is located at shop 4 Emerald Road UB.


Blue Vein Deli is open Tuesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner. It is located at 355 Beaconsfield-Emerald Road, Guys Hill. 9769 8062.

The Pine Grove Hotel - The Pine Grove Hotel is open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week with a-la-carte menu and caters for set menu functions, wedding receptions and celebrations. Accommodation is also available.

Ttekceba is a self-contained luxury retreat. It features unusual decor and beautiful gardens.

Yuulong Bed and Breakfast offers private, luxury accommodation featuring beautiful surroundings and views.

Elephant Rock is an example of the many granite outcrops in the area. The 'split rock' in Split Rock Road is another. Shaped (roughly) like an elephant and stategically located in a highly visible spot on Beaconsfield Emerald road, the rock is regularly painted by locals with greetings, slogans and art works - even occasionally elephant markings.  It is located approximately 5 kilometres north of the village next to a carpark and lookout that provides views over Cardinia Reservoir.

Pony Club

Upper Beaconsfield Pony Club has approximately 60 riding members and meets on the third Sunday of each month. 
Aims and Objectives:
  •  To encourage young people to ride and to learn to enjoy all approved types of sport connected with horses and riding.
  •  To provide instruction in horsemanship and riding and to instill into the members the proper care of their animals.
  •  To promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty, thereby cultivating strength of character and self-discipline.
As well as being involved in their everyday training activities our riders are often involved in a number of other interesting pastimes. These include activities such as camps, beach rides, cross country clinics and competing in inter pony club competitions in dressage, show jumping, eventing and mounted games. Pony club rally meets every 3rd Sunday of the month.

The Pony club and Riding club share premises at the Upper Beaconsfield Rec. Reserve. Facilities include a clubhouse, 2 arenas and ample parking.

Victorian Equestrian Centre

Tennis Club
Upper Beaconsfield Tennis Club is situated in Sutherland Reserve.  The recently extended clubhouse overlooks 7 well tended courts - 6 en-tout-cas and 1 Rebound Ace. Competitions include:
Juniors - Saturday morning Dandenong District competition for under 18s
Ladies - midweek competition (Wednesdays)
Adults - in house evening competitions on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday

We also field Pennant teams and mixed teams in the Waverley and District Tennis Association and West Gippsland Tennis Association competitions.

Upper Beaconsfield Recreation Reserve
The Rec. reserve committee of management runs the reserve which includes the oval (shared use with the primary school), clubrooms and igloo, pony and riding club facilities, bmx track, playground and carpark. Uses include equestrian, cricket, football and scouts. The oval is the home ground for the Beaconsfield Junior Football club.
